Update on the Murph

 Murphy turned 7 months old this past week.  He is now 51 pounds and keeps us VERY busy.  

Now A Senior and Employed

 Lily Grace walked out of school for the last time as a Junior.  She leaves with all A's, tons of awards and academic honors and one of the hardest working students I know. 

Speaking of working, she's not only working hard in school, but his summer she decided to get her first job and work at the golf course where we are members.  Her boss is her golf coach. Coach Gary and his sweet wife Joanne are more like grandparents than bosses.  

She got her first check and has offered to take us out to eat.

HaPpY 17th Birthday!

 Lily Grace turned 17 this past week.  It doesn't seem real.  

She took her two excused college visit days over her birthday.  Matt flew back home from China on the evening of the 24th.  The morning of her birthday, the 25th, we enjoyed a nice breakfast opening gifts and hanging out before she and I headed to Bloomington to visit Indiana University to see if being a Hoosier is a good fit.  A tired Matt stayed home with the Murph. 

We arrived in Bloomington early afternoon, settled in at the adorable Graduate Hotel and strolled around the IU campus and downtown Bloomington.  We capped off her birthday with family calls and dinner out in Bloomington.  

On Wednesday, we spent the day on the IU campus in sessions and touring.  The campus is just as beautiful as everyone says and it's easy to see why it is so often photographed.  The green-space is both abundant and beautiful and the limestone buildings only add to its beauty.

Back home, on Saturday she enjoyed dinner out with a group of friends.

She still isn't sure where she will go to school, but one thing is for sure, she's getting older and we couldn't be more proud of the wonderful person she is becoming. We love you Gracie!!!!

The pathways that lead you throughout the campus are just magical.  Wildflowers grow in a multitude of colors and the canopy of trees make it all the more beautiful.

Muddy Fun

Murphy had his first playdate yesterday.  Two of our neighbors also have new puppies.  All three puppies are around the same age. 

With our last snow finally melted, we got them together yesterday to play.  Oh my gracious! We watched three cute balls of energy run nonstop around the yard.  They had so much fun!

Murphy played his little heart out.  Once we walked home and cleaned all the "fun" off of him, he at dinner and passed out.
